FAQs
Do you promote real animal fur?
Absolutely not. We are 100% anti-animal cruelty. Every part of The Fur Magazine supports faux fur, vegan fashion, and sustainable practices.
What size should I order? Do the coats run big or small?
Our coats are designed with an intentionally oversized silhouette while remaining true to size. If you typically wear lighter layers underneath, we recommend choosing your usual size. If you prefer styling your coat with chunky knits, hoodies, or heavier sweaters, sizing up can offer extra room and create an even more relaxed, oversized look.
In general, there is no need to size up or down. For specific fit details, please refer to the individual product description.
What’s the difference between your faux fur and cheaper alternatives?
Cheaper faux fur often cuts corners: thintoxic, non recycled fibers that look flat, no lining, and a polyester interior that feels rough and disposable. It’s the fast-fashion version of fur.
At The faux Magazine, every coat is built with intention. The fibers are carefully recycled and selected for weight, thickness, and natural movement. Reusing what we have on earth, without toxins and all OEKO-TEK - certified. Inside, each coat is finished with a cotton–silk blend lining, smooth against the skin and a mark of true craftsmanship.
The difference is like holding a flimsy throw blanket versus a handmade, heavy blanket filled with warmth and texture. One feels temporary. The other feels timeless. One looks cheap, one looks like it could be expensive real fur, without the guilt.
